Harvest Mouse Training – Hertfordshire

The event, run by Ellie Smith, will consist of a talk on Harvest Mouse ecology followed by a practical nest survey session in the field.
Location: RSPB Rye Meads Nature Reserve
Date: Saturday 28th January 2023
Time: 10am to 1pm (end time approximate)
Site facilities: teas/coffees and biscuits provided (if you have any dietary requirements, please let me know), with limited hot and cold drinks and snacks available for purchase in reception. Toilets available on site.
Parking: Free on site for attendees
Additional info: Please wear suitable warm and waterproof outdoor clothing and footwear (wellies essential), and bring gardening gloves to wear during the survey. A long sturdy stick may be useful to survey with, to reduce the need to bend over when looking through vegetation.
