Harvest Mouse Training – Shropshire

A harvest mouse training event (10 am – 3 pm) with Derek Crawley, meeting at Crudwell Meadow car park, Church Stretton (OS Grid Ref: SO 44933 93110).
Join Derek Crawley and Elen Sentier to search for harvest mouse nests as part of the Mammal Society’s National Harvest Mouse Survey!
Elen is part of the Shropshire Mammal Group, so there are set to be members helping too.
The plan is to meet at 10am on Sunday the 30th of Ocotber at Crudwell Meadow. Derek will then explain how to look for nests and where is best.
To get there please head to Cemetry Lane, Church Stretton, Shropshire. There is no postcode for the address but the OS coordinates are above (click on Crudwell Meadow).
Please bring outdoor clothing and possibly wellingtons or waterproof shoes if it has rained recently. Gloves are also recommended as you will be searching through grass.
