Writing and publishing literature reviews

As every researcher will know, most research starts with conducting a literature review. However, this is only half the job. Science needs to be communicated, and to do this, you need to write and publish articles. In this workshop, you will learn about writing and publishing a review article. This workshop would be especially useful for Early Career Researchers (ECR) or someone looking to publish a review for the first time. This workshop will boost your confidence and teach you how to write a star article.

The workshop will be delivered by Dr Robyn Grant.

Robyn is a Reader at Manchester Metropolitan University and the Editor-in-Chief for Mammal Review, the official scientific periodical of the Mammal Society. She has extensive experience in writing articles, journal editing and article reviewing thanks to her contribution to many journals, including Mammal Review, Journal of Anatomy, Frontiers and Journal of Neuroscience Methods.

Beginner level: Attendees will ideally have some basic understanding of the topic. The event will then allow them to consolidate pre-existing knowledge and develop their skills.

Please note a link to the Zoom will be sent to you via email before the event starts, if you haven't received one please check your spam folders.
