Experienced species recovery practitioner and researcher with a focus on conservation translocations. Previously worked as a research biologist in the field, running research and recovery programmes to conserve threatened and endangered species in the Central Valley of California.

Sam’s particular areas of expertise are mammal conservation translocations, conservation planning, animal behaviour, and from a species basis, meso-carnivores but primarily foxes.
