Calling all students!

Join us for the Mammal Society's 7th Student Conference!

The conference is being held on the 27th and 28th of April 2018 at the University of Worcester. This two-day event brings together a range of students, at all stages of study, to discuss mammal research. It is a chance to also meet with peers, experts, and other mammal enthusiasts! It also gives the chance to take part in a range of workshops, including a Saturday workshop with the Vincent Wildlife Trust where you'll learn about modern survey methods and get hand-on with camera traps, radio collars and more (spaces are limited, so book now. Spaces are limited for the Saturday event, so book now). The conference provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain experience and make new connections.

Present a talk or poster at the conference

The core of the Student Conference is based on student presenters that give talks and showcase posters. Whether you're an undergraduate or postgraduate, we encourage all students to showcase their work by presenting at the conference. It's a great chance to get conference experience, as well as to tell people about your work and get feedback from professionals.

To  submit a talk or poster for consideration simply send a Word document, following the online guidelines (https://tinyurl.com/MSSC18-papers) to students@themammalsociety.org no later than the 3rd of March 2018, with the subject 'Student Conference Presentation/Poster'.

Tickets cost £12 for members and £25 for non-members (including discounted membership to the Mammal Society).
