The Mammal Society's Annual General Meeting 2026

All members of the Mammal Society are warmly invited to our 2026 AGM on Wednesday 9th September 2026, when we will review accounts for the Financial Year 2025, elect new Council members, update on current projects and priorities, and hear from any members with suggestions or questions about the work of the society.

The business of the AGM will be followed by a short guest lecture -speaker TBA.

If you would like to nominate yourself or another member for the Mammal Society Council please send an email FYI Honorary Secretary Tony Parker to ceo@themammalsociety.org

Nominations will need to be proposed and seconded by other members of the Mammal Society (not currently serving Council members). You do not need to have these names in place to express initial interest in being nominated, and we can help reach out to request members who are happy to propose and second the nomination at the AGM.

Please state when expressing interest in standing for Council if you are interested in taking on an Officer role, or if you would wish to stand for a place as an ordinary trustee. The Mammal Society is currently seeking nominations for an Honorary Treasurer, and for someone to shadow the Chair role with a view to taking it on in 2027.
