Let’s Draw Dormice!
Animal Drawing Workshop
Online workshop - pay what you can (suggestion: £9)
Learn how to draw the endangered and oh-so-cute Hazel Dormouse with guidance from Tutor Bethany Y Milam. There will be step-by-step demonstrations, of drawing exercises, we will look at dormouse anatomy and how to build up sketches using simple shapes. You will have the opportunity to draw from a range of fantastic photo references. There will be exploration of pencil techniques, tone, texture and lots of drawing tips along the way. This workshop is suitable for all, including beginners and the perfect way to practice your drawing skills and appreciation of these adorable, nocturnal animals.
The session will last approximately two hours. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and I will make some time for individual feedback on your artwork at the end of the session (you may need to allow another 15 mins on class time if you would like feedback).
Workshops are recorded and a link will be emailed to participants after the event. If you cannot make the workshop time/date you can still take part by catching up later with the recording, which will also be available for sale from my website.
Please note - the link, meeting ID and passcode to the session and reference photo link will be in the 'additional details' section of your Eticket from Ticketsource.
