The Great Linnean Bat Hunt

With The Linnean Society of London

Join us this mammal week to discover the hidden world of nocturnal bats! We will be discussing some of their mysterious behaviours and wonderful adaptations that have helped them become some of the most successful mammals in the world.

Armed with bat detectors, torches, and some bat poo for good measure, learn more about the ecology and conservation of these fantastic creatures and discover how to identify them.

What’s more, given the unique aspects of Crystal Palace Park, immerse yourself in the history of Crystal Palace and its incredible gardens!

We want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy our bat walks and experience the amazing nocturnal life of London's bats. We want to encourage you to connect with nature and help us create a world where urban wildlife thrives.

In order to help people who might find cost a barrier to attending our bat walks, our community funded access scheme offers several free tickets. Please only select these tickets if you would be unable to attend otherwise.”
