Unusual roost site selection in the first recorded maternity colony of Bechstein’s bat Myotis bechsteinii (Kuhl, 1817) in Croatia

This paper reports the first confirmed maternity colony of Bechstein's bat in Croatia, describing its unusual roost site in a building attic rather than the woodland habitats typical of the species.
