Join the Mammal Society for this special online event marking the release of the third edition of the Hazel Dormouse Conservation Handbook, published in March 2025.
Hazel dormice (Muscardinus avellanarius) are a distinctive and much-loved part of Britain’s woodland fauna, and this updated handbook reflects the most current research and conservation practices available.
Speakers:
Simone Bullion – Mammal ecologist and lead author, with extensive experience in dormouse conservation and research.
Ian White – Dormouse officer at PTES and co-author of the handbook, with over two decades of field and policy experience.
The webinar will explore key updates in the new edition and the latest insights into dormouse ecology, followed by a live Q&A with the speakers.
This event will be held via Zoom.
Donations received will support the Mammal Society’s ongoing conservation work.
